Former Sultan Dasuki's Wife Buried In Kaduna

The remains of Hajiya Goggo-Jabbo, the wife of former Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Ibrahim Dasuki, has been buried in Kaduna n Monday according to Islamic rites.

Family sources told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that Goggo-Jabbo, 75, died at the National Hospital Abuja on Sunday, after a brief illness. She left behind her husband and three children.
The Chief Imam of Yahya Road Jumma'at Mosque, Malam Hassan Yahya led the prayers for the repose of her soul.
Gov. Mukhtar Yero of Kaduna State, the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Bashar, former National Security Adviser, Gen. Aliyu Gusau and Dr Ahmad Gummi were among personalities at the burial.
Also at the burial were the Deputy Governors of Zamfara, Kebbi, Niger and Sokoto States as well as Senators Muhammadu Magoro and Ahmed Yerima.(NAN)
